Interactive PowerPoints

This technology is a fantastic way to present information. The manipulation of page transitions, text, picture and audio formatting tools creates a visually and audio enticing presentation of information. PowerPoint is a Microsoft program, for apple mac users (such as myself) a compatible version can be purchased so this program can function.
In the classroom, the teacher is in control of the page and information transitions. If the PowerPoint is uploaded to an online interface, the information can be viewed over and over, the student is in control of the information they are being exposed to. An example of how an interactive PowerPoint can be used as a pedagogical tool can be seen below.
